I stayed in Mandalay Bay recently and it was ok but I don't think I would stay there again.

what about the Wynn? that place is supposed to be the new standard, with a ferrari dealership to boot. if not, the mandalay is OK, but i would do Caesars for location and percieved clientelle.

Venetian or Bellagio without a doubt.
Mandalay Bay was a bit of a dissapoitnment.

Next time i go to Vegas i'll probably stay in the Pyramid aka Luxor
They had the best Pina Colada's

For my money, the Rio. I've tried many of the others. I still need to try the Mandalay Bay and Caesar's but their rates are high.

Venetian and Bellagio are over-rated. Rooms were no nicer than the Rio, though I like the Bellagio Poker room.

I still like the MGM Grand (though I'm 3 for 3 on having a service issue each time I stay there) and Mirage (though expensive again). I'm neutral on Harrahs (location is better than the hotel).

how old are you? i wouldn't stay at caesars, bellagio or wynn because i am neither older nor rich. caesars does have a good location, though.

i liked MGM. good location, good club inside, new poker room which i never did get a chance to play at, and it's huge...lots of restaurants and a large pool area with a lazy river. whatever you do, don't stay at imperial palace.

Ceasar's or Mandalay. Mirage is nothing special and not that great of a location.

I stayed in the Luxor last year for $70 a night. The room was great (make sure you requets the pyrmaid if you go b/c they have a regular building for the hotel as well).

As for your choices, ceasers seems to have the best location. I'd stay there unless you plan on spending your vacation in your room. Mandally would be at the very end of the strip though so you wouldn't have to deal with as much traffic as the rest of them.

What is wrong with Imperial Palace? I'm looking at going back in the spring sometime and was looking at the Imperial Palace...

What about the Stratosphere?
