Alright, a guy at work is saying it's faked because the shadows change and things move around between frames. I was thinking it was just caused by the low bitrate encoding. What do you think?

Yeah, looks like it was edited on the computer. He took different pictures of the house with different lights on, and edited them all together on the computer to sync with the music. I doubt the neighbours heard or saw anything. Cool none the less, but I doubt its real. Unless it says so on the link which I didn't bother reading

Once again, this is NOT someone's house.

This is a facade of a house on a stage at a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert.

They are playing the music live and the lighting is in sync with the music.

Trans Siberian Orchestra did a song with Metallica a few years ago that was a big hit.

If you look closely at the front of video you can see the front of the stage.

So you are saying the video is not "doctored"?

My bet is that the video is entirely legit. People really do do this kind of thing.

Here's a house a few miles from me. Their video (also to TSO!) is not synchronized nearly as well with the music, but you can get an idea of the amount of control over the lights they can get with computers. Just tweak the timing some and you can have a video just like the one that started this thread.

Oh, and here's the same guy's setup, but with a different song:

Hehe. Just saw the video as part of a Miller Light commercial today. The guy who did it was also on the Today Show recently. Hopefully he's getting proper compensation for the commercial.
