"Description: Your adventure takes you on an all day expedition to the Farallon Islands off the San Francisco coast, home to some of the largest Great White Sharks in the world. We leave at sunrise under the world famous Golden Gate Bridge and return at sunset. You will have the opportunity to dive with Great White Sharks in cages surrounded by the pristine marine habitat and fall hunting grounds of these 15-20 foot awesome marine predators."
You get all that for $775, thats a deal and a half.
A friend of mine got to dive o/s and she said they take you down to the bottom and suspend some food at mid-depth so you can watch the sharks frenzy, mind you those wouldn't have been great whites.
I think that it would be one of those fears you face that wouldn't cure the Still an awesome experience though

$775 for one day of seeing Great White sharks is atleast $275 more expensive than any price I would begin considering...
furthermore, "If, however, we see no sharks, there is no refund."
Actually I agree with you. The no refund is a little sketchy, and the definition of "success" is a little shady. The second link however provides a 98% success rate, with only four divers with you. Id still like to do this someday.
