Default Video Editing Forums??

Does anyone know of any good video editing forums? Just some basic amateur stuff? I'm interested in messing around with some dvd clips and homemade videos that I have and want to know where a good source of information is available.

Thanks.

I don't have any video editing programs just yet. I'm just trying to find some basic newbie information so I know what I can start to look into.

I both agree and disagree with Presidente. Premier is pretty difficult to learn, and probably takes months to master. However, with one of those large 3" computer books, it is possible to create and edit a small program with some basic cuts and edits in a week or so. Naturally a lot of trial and error is necessary. I started this way and stumbled my way with a few short 5 minute video projects.

Then I put it away for three months and forgot everything! Just for kicks, I loaded up Ulead that came with some equipment and tried to fuss around with that. IMO after working with Premier, I found the "user friendly" interface to be much more difficult to use and simply went back to the "fun" of Premier.
