Yeah, we should be proud of killing farmers. Asshole.

Whats next, women and children? "Patriots" like you make me sick.

Wow, that was a crazy video. Silverstone, what makes you assume those were hapless farmers? There was no mention made of time frame or location of that footage. Take a deep breath and think for a moment before jumping to conclusions and making derisive comments. Personal attacks will not be tolerated here.

Edit: Upon further inspection, it does appear that the vehicle on the left is a tractor with some type of farming equipment attached. That does not, however, mean the individuals shown were simply farmers. I would love to find out the circumstances of this footage.

Well, coming from somebody who has had (some) training in viewing FLIR images, the time and datestamp are right on the video. In addition, if any of them were carrying weapons (pistols or submachine guns, or even rocket launchers, etc in the truck) the heat signatures would stick out like a sore thumb. So.. maybe I do know what I am talking about. I can't vouch for those particular group of 4 individuals that were gunned down... but.. If I was the targeting gunner on that gunship, I would have questioned my intel before pulling the trigger. Again.. no indications of foul play. Looks fishy to me.

It just disgusts me when people use such self-congratulatory tone when talking about killing anybody.

Were you able to make out a time stamp? I can't read any of it apart from the words "FLIR", "Recording", and "Rounds". I agree that an assault rifle or RPG would be readily apparent, but I'm not so sure about handguns. Anyway, I'll grant you that no weapons are visible in this vid. I guess I just have a bit more faith in the competence of the intel guys and decorum of the Apache (?) guys involved than you do .

Incidentally, I wonder where the rounds fired at the start of the video went. You can hear the shots and see the round counter go down, but see no evidence of impact in the film. Maybe they had an incorrect range setting or something initially.

You think they question their intel when they shoot down our Blackhawk medavac helicopter? Or their intel when they detonate roadside bombs?

I was told that that thing to the left is a T-25 Tank, but I can't tell what it is...

This video is on abc news right now. They aren't farmers, they are Iraqui rebels.
