Marcus sure seems like a nice guy on the phone, but I have now wasted even more $ in long distance calls talking to him, so he can lie to me about sending me $. He even called back about a week ago and "PROMISED" to my wife to send the $ back that day.

Anyone know what my options are now? I basically got suckered for $325!

The guy sounds broke. Maybe he lost his job.

 

Even if someone is broke, you don't sucker people into sending you $ for wheels with no intention of sending them!!!!!

Hopefully someone here has some wonderfull idea how to chase him down to get the $.? Lately, no one even answers the phone #.

Well, you know... you could always contact the chinese mafia and get them to get your money back. But unfortunately they usually keep half the $$$ as a fee, but at that point, $$$ isn't much of an issue as giving said party the fright of his life.

 

Every time i talk to him, he claims all of these people are watching him, and stalking him.... .ya... add one to the damned list pal!

Maybe he ripped many other people off and they are coming after him.!!!!

BEWARE!!! VISCREAL has had my $325 for over 1 month with nothing sent, and I don't think there is any intention of ever paying me back, but I will find out locally what I can do!

All I know is that you have to be careful dealing with people you don't know. Beware of Ebay! I sent a guy in California $920 for an Alpine CVA-1005 screen, and never anything. And guess what - NOTHING I can do about it. I've tried everything. He also suckered another kid out of $800 for the Alpine Mobile DVD player. He never got his either. And if something like this happens to you, Ebay will not help you at all. Don't wait until it happens to you! If you do use ebay, USE a credit card. I sent a money order

I believe RandyC had done some business with Viscreal at one point....I think dealing with a Mugen ECU, if I'm not mistaken.

You may want to try to talk to Randy to see what his outcome was, and if it was anything like yours, you both may wanna team up and do something about it........legally, that is!!!!

Ermil - Yes, you are correct 1RandyC is owed $1100!!!! I wish I had known before I sent my $$$ (which is why I am making my issue fairly public, so no one else gets burned).

I checked his name out on the board before I sent $, and no one had anything bad to say, so I went forward...MY BAD!!!

I will have to see if the local district justice has any advice (went to his wedding)....... I only know Marcus's wifes name is Kathleen Mitchell and that is who I sent the $ to via Western Union (because he was afraid everyone stalking him would get him.?) I don't have their address, etc....

For EBAY scams you can contact the FBI. If they can, they will get the guy and you will get your money back.

Scot, stop pussy-footing around and call the cops, it's fraud, plain and simple.

Luckily I dealt with 2 guys for almost over 5K over the internet and everything worked out!!
