Default VMA'S

first of let me say that i dont listen to hip hop/rap/RB and really could give a shit about the artists and all that crap. i more or less watch it as my wife enjoys watching it, and i enjoy making fun of hip hop morons wearing cloths 5 sizes to big while wearing hub-cap sized medalions around their neck.

the part of the show that i though was uncalled for was the attack on spears by sara silverman. im not a brittany fan, and i dont really feel one way or the other about here, although i do feel sorry for her. i just think she was a not so smart southern girl that feel into fame and fortune to fast and well we've seen what happens. i knew that after the shotty performance by spears that silverman was going to poke some fun a her, but i think she took it way to far. insulting her children, talking about her vagina. jesus christ, comon.

i dunno maybe im way off here, but did anyone else think that she took it too far?

I dont know how jimmy kimmel hasnt killed himself yet. She's not even close to being funny. In regards to britney spears - she deserves a little bit of it, but when is enough enough?

thats why im saying. as a celeb you have to expect that someone is going to make fun of you. but i think that what silverman did was over the top, and uncalled for.

Why do you go out of your way to criticize Sarah Silverman, who we all know to be a deadbeat comedian, and uphold Britney as simply a southern chick that got a bad rap one day. Have you seen the way she handles her kids? Have you seen the way she handles herself? She shouldn't even have kids. She's probably going to lose custody of them to Kevin Federline, of all people. I'll show some remorse if Britney was actually trying to raise her children, but for all I know she's addicted to a cocktail of drugs, neglectful of her children, lost all her talent, and simply dismisses everyone else that might try and help her (like her mother). She's absolutely delusional, in case you missed it...

Wow, people standing up for Britney Spears. That's a pretty hard position to defend with all of the crap she has done lately. I feel more sorry for her kids having her as a mom than for Sarah Silverman making fun of them. I think her kids don't really care that a comedian made a joke at their expense when their mom is treating them like she is and their good parent is Kevin Federline.

Yeah those jokes will be forgotten by the weekend. The second hand smoke/cocaine-on-the-counter is probably more of a negative influence for her kids than some un-funny comedian.

I dont think in any way shape or form the first or the second child were anything more than mistakes. Sarah's jokes were below the belt but she did not insult the kids, she insulted the situation. Labeling them mistakes was right on the money as far as fact is concerned.

The true travesty was Britney's performance. In the history of live performances have I ever seen a more haphazzard and droll offering from any performer. it looked more like a dry-run dress rehersal than a performance.

she made no attempt to sing (even over the back track) and the music was so layered that she had no idea what part to sing. She could not walk in her boots and NO BUSINESS wearing that good awful outfit. She was not motivated to dance and basically disrespected her responsibility to do her best on stage.

Now people are saying she bombed the performance because of what Sarah said... GET OVER IT BRITNEY. You made your proverbial bed, now sleep in it. Until you take extreme measures to fix yourself you and your nearly illegitmate children WILL be the butt of many jokes.
