VOIP Service: Sunrocket
I just took the plunge into VOIP service and signed up with SunRocket. They have a deal where you get unlimited calling and the usual suite of extra VOIP features for $200. The $200 covers 2 years of service.
Does anyone here currently use SunRocket or have any experience? I'm waiting to get my launch kit to try it out. Would like to hear any user opinions.
Figured $200 for 2years is a pretty sweet deal and you can try it out for 31days without penalty.

It would scare me to have to pay 2 years in advance.
I am running Voice Pulse at my home and office. For a while I ran Vonage and Voice Pulse at the same time to try them out. Voice Pulse won hands down.
The Vonage interface and customer service lost out big time to the simplicity and good service of Voice Pulse.
One thing you cannot do with consistency with VOIP is fax. It will do it sometimes, just not consistently.

I also love the fact that your bill is about what you think it should be. My $15 plan totals $18.
That beats out traditional phone service where you sign up for $30 in services and get a bill for $50 due to taxes and surcharges.
Vonage for me has been pretty good. Some people can't get through sometimes, though. It's definitely not something for emergencies or to use as a callback line when you're looking for a job, but it does the job for a home line. My primary is my cell phone, anyway.

To the best of my knowledge that doesn't happen with VP.
VP also has a great spam phone call filter. When a computerized caller rings they get a tone on the phone that is supposed to delete that number from their records. I don't understand how it works, but work it does.
VoiceEclipse is also another service, for $19.99/mo you get 2 lines, the ability to fax to those lines, call forwarding (find-me follow-me features) and a few other things....the fax is my fav as you specify where to fax it to (your number) and it forwards to an e-mail address you specify. it's quality.
do a google search
note: I work for the company that owns VoiceEclipse and am planning on getting this for my home whenever i move (again, within the next 4-6 months for sure). Just wanted to disclose any bias I have
