Did you see when the events were scheduled? Seems like the hottest time of the year too.

 

Still, I'll bet it'd be really fun.

 

Sweet. If nothing else, it allows you to max your car out (very few curves, I imagine)... Still, I think I'd prefer to just go to a track and race/do laps against a clock. More competitive, in my mind (and safer). You never know when an animal is going to run across in front of you. At 150+ mph, that's a pretty dangerous possibility....
