No fat cats here, but I used to foster cats for a local animal shelter. These guys were too small to head home yet:
These two also came from the same shelter but were adopted by a friend of mine and I was babysitting them at my house while she was on vacation:

The picture you have of him on his two back legs makes him look like a caterpillar.
Our cat really isnt fat, actually the opposite, but she is polydactile. I think she has 13 toes on the front two paws and 9 or 10 on the back two. I ll try and get some pics for you all to see.
Im def a dog person for exactly what someone said above, they dont care who you are or where you were, they will always love ya
Now that i partially got a cat now I can see why you guys do love them so much.
