This is why I sold my bike. I have too much to live for right now.
Good choice. I never understood adults--who could afford a car--choose the motorcycle for "fun". It is just way too dangerous. I wanted one when i was 17 and felt invincible, but now that I've had a taste of mortality I will pass.

People die in cars too. If you do 12x in the rear of a semi you are dead just the same in car/on bike.

Unfortunately, people who like to do reckless things are attracted to sport bikes so they get a lot of high risk takers compared to any other vehicle. You can ride relatively safely, but it is always more dangerous than a car. Just like an s2000 is less safe than many other cars out there. Life is a constant cost vs benefit experiement.

I'll still be riding my bike tomorrow, wouldn't have it any other way.

this reminds of an old picture where a biker lost the lower half of his face in an accident. he's sitting in the ER holding a bucket under his face.
1. This is a repost. The original thread is in bike talk.
2. If anyone believes the guy lived you are a retard.
3. The picture of the half face guy was actually mislabeled. The true story was a kid shot his face off and lived.

I can't say I've seen it all but I have seen quite a bit.
I've been very lucky and have seen some really bad things but the fun far outweighs bad.
What do you do Mac?
