The US government broke EVERY treaty it signed with the native americans, the Bush administration has broken or cancelled every treaty signed by the Clinton administration, and if you think we are doing the humanitarian thing in Iraq.... Well, remember that all wars are fought for economic reasons, always have been, always will be. All the nationalistic rhetoric just shifts around in time from the Romans to the Spaniards, the French (Freedom), the English, etc. There are no heroes, only dead young men and women. It's really very simple, and that is what makes it so sad.

In my opinion you are an even bigger fool "sitting" in your computer chair typing insults directed at another person "sitting around" in your words. You would rather him just say "thank you???" For what exactly? What exactly are you thankful for? Growing up in a podunk community perhaps raised by podunk parents that have a strong faith that their Federal Government is actually their protector and friend? Being brainwashed as a Marine in to believing you are doing something positive for the greater good of the people of the United States, when all you are really doing is fighting for the Global Elite and promoting their desire for a complete world government?

The same smug "know it all" attitude that your post reeks with is exactly why armed forces members don't get the same level of respect they used to. You people possess this idea that you are more informed than the rest of us, yet your information is clearly biased and edited to support the cause and hidden agenda of those you really work for.

You are one arrogant fool; but, I do appreciate the level of confidance with which you admit that you are. It is way too comical for me to read statements like this where people like yourself think you know what is really going on right now and that the information you possess is the truth.

Who told you this? Oh wait...I forgot...your sacred Federal Government. I think it makes complete sense that we as "the mighty U.S" can be dictators to go in and dictate that another dictator can't run his country any more because its direction doesn't coincide with our own perfect plan for that region.

ANYONE that doesn't think this war, and the one started on the Taliban, is completely 100% about oil needs to pull their head of the sand, wake up, and start doing your own independent research instead of waiting for some corporate sponsored media source like CNN or FoxNews to spoon feed it to you. Go research the Bush and Bin Laden family connection, go research Bush's connection with the Carlyle Group, go research UNICAL and then make up your own mind.

Have you ever thought about the possibility that the U.S., specifically the top levels of the CIA and FBI, could have orchestrated these attacks on its own people in order to strike fear in the American people to get them to rally behind a specific cause? It really isn't that hard to imagine. Nero did it when he burned Rome and blamed it on the Christians. Hitler did it when he burned the Reichstag and blamed it on the Jews. It's called history, something you eluded to in another one of your posts. History clearly shows Government sponsored terrorism against its own people WORKS. Think about it. 9/11 provided us with the pretext to go in and take over the Taliban. Did it not? Explain to me how 15 out of the 17 hijackers were Saudis yet Saudi Arabia is not on the Bush's "Axis of Evil" list?

All I am saying is don't sit back and pretend to yourself that you are informed when the only angle you have clearly researched is the one that supports what the U.S. is doing right now.

i want to point out one more thing, the ameican news media is so full of bias. try to read BBC news or other REAL news sources. for example, thousands of palestinians were slaughtered at the shatila camp massacres by the orders of ariel sharon, i don't think it even got mentioned here. BUT when one american gets run over by a israeli bulldozer(and backs up on her to make sure she is dead ), the whole freaking world finds out. i feel sorry for that american girl who lost her life last week, but the news media needs to stop being biased and tell us what REALLY is going on about everyone in that region.
btw wtf is up with the usa going to war with iraq WITHOUT UN backing. the UN is a freaking joke. the UN should have the power to stop *ANY* control from doing what it pleases is the UN doesn't agreee. The USA is now the "big bully on the block" with a "i can do whatever i want" attitude. its unacceptable and i understand why so many people hate us(not only the so-called "terrorists" ).
