I looking at the market this morning and DJIA was down almost 200 points.

then, in the afternoon, It came abck and ended up almost gaining 120 points.

What's up? Does anyone from S2000FN know what happened?

I think it's called, ignoring the bad news. Let's see...

1. existing home sales numbers drop
2. weak durable goods number
3. ongoing horrible earnings
4. more anthrax scares

I think it's huge manipulation, but that's what the markets are all about. FWIW, I'll take it!

On the other hand...there is much talk of another 50bp cut. So... there you have it.

I feel that market has its own life. Or better yet, like a woman. I can never predict it and it never moves as I want it to.
