Ahh, the Aqua Terra Seamaster. It's a nice watch. Omegas are really well-made watches. You will easily get a lifetime of use out of it. Sweet B-Day present...somebody loves you.
FYI...."Quartz" is battery-powered.
"Chronometer" is a mechanical movement...either windup or (in the Omega's case) self-winding automatic. A "Chronometer" has been rigorously tested by the Swiss government...they subject the movement to extreme temperatures, rapid temp changes, shock, etc. If the watch is accurate to within +6 seconds or -2 seconds per day(if I remember correctly), it becomes a certified chronometer.

Chronometer is for the most part the term given to an accurate time piece..
Quartz watches are battery operated, while an Automatic is a self winding watch.
Its a good looking watch.. I love Omega's
They make excellent watches, that aren't insanly expensive.
Here's a pic of my Omega.

Both watches are really nice.. I got an old fossil, needs to be replaced though.. I barely wear watches nowadays though.. but the omegas look nice, and affordability is also nice..
