Default watching dvds on computer?

i have a dvd player but have lost the software for it, are there any free programs available which would be able to play a dvd?

all the ones I hve found are demo versions restricted to, at most, 30 minutes of play.

just FYI, cracks are easy to come by which lift time-limit restrictions.

Yup, Windows Media Player can play DVD's. Not the best program, but it still works.

If you ever look into getting DVD software, take a look at either WinDVD or PowerDVD. Both are really good programs.

Are there any dvd programs that let you zoom? Playing widescreen on a 17 in screen is kind of hard to watch.

I play all my dvd's with the divx player and codec.. I think it only works for movies that are in divx format, but i think that most of the movies are in that format nowadays..
