I agree there is a great deal of disrespect here.
The idea that a forum created to bring enthusiasts together has actually served to alienate the women is extremely sad, after all, I can't think of a finer thing than lady who appreciates such things as performance automobiles!
As a driving school instructor I would simply like to ad my favorite students are women, because they listen to what is being offered up as a suggestion with an open mind. They are not genetically programmed to compete so they seem to be able to learn quicker because they focus on self-improvement and not the car in front of them.
A bit more respect would go a long ways.
