Does anyone know of a website that translates and defines a word into english even if you don't know what language it represents? I'm trying to find out what the word salama means but don't know what language it is spoken.

Thanks both of you. Also found a website (www.palestineremembered.com) that shows it to be a former town in the middle east. I was curious based on news reports of an attempted hijacking in New Mexico of a medical plane. The hijacker was reported to have repeated what sounded like the word 'salama' several times. May or not have been an accurate interpretation.
