It's late and I'm curious.

How does the S2KI community feel about marijuana? Medicinally or otherwise.

 

Can't understand why it's criminalized when liquor is not. All of the problems that lead to the repeal of prohibition are present with Marijuana and other criminalized mind-altering substances, but that hasn't changed people's minds about them. Obviously, marijuana should be used responsibly, meaning that you should NEVER drive under the influence. Other than that, I think it can be used responsibly and socially like alcohol, and it can be used irresponsibly and destructively...like alcohol.

I hope threads like this don't get locked. If someone on this forum is offended by the discussion of a "drug" than I am deeply sorry for them and the unusually sheltered life they live.

However, if anybody uses marijuana medically please chime in. I'd really like to here why. Personally, I believe it works. It helps me concentrate in school. Without it how could I maintain my 3.5?

If people truly believe that weed is the Devil reincarnated then I apologize on behalf of whoever filled your mind with such garbage. Hopefully one day the brain washing will stop and people will begin to accept it.

Both. It's safer than alcohol for those recreational users and it has been proven to be medically beneficial to those who have certain symptoms.

I smoke because when I'm stoned, everything is hilarious. So if you ask me, weed is the best antidepressant in the world, which means they should prescribe it instead of that Paxil junk or whatever it is they're prescribing for that nowadays.

So, yes, I do smoke medicinal marijuana... kinda.
