I was 5' 11", 130 as well. I was 23, then moved into my own place. Literally a year later, I was upto 170.

I'm at 185 right now, 26.

Just eat a lot of pizza and drink lots of beer!

5'11 and 130? Wow, now that is lean.

During my University years, I weighed in at 215lbs with almost 30% body fat. To boot, I'm only 5'7. Today, I weigh 140lbs, with a body fat of 8%.

I know it's not what the thread called for, but I like to boast every now and again.

I'm trying to gain weight because I enlisted in the Air Force. I leave Dec. 9 for basic, and I want to be in better shape than I am now.

30 years old, 6'2" and until abut 4 months ago I had never been over 145 pounds. I finally made it to 151! Blow some discs out in your back, sit on your ass and do nothing for a while, the weight will come I eat a lot, everyday and my metabolism is so high that even doing nothing, my body burns it off.

buddy, weight gain shouldn't be your goal then. building your strength and stamina should be. I would start running daily-- twice daily!-- and also throw in some good work-out routines, AND then add a healthy protein-filled diet.

I'd stop surfing the net and s2ki and start a comprehensive workout routine immediately. and don't do the typical procrastination crap of having to plan the perfect workout schedule-- just get the f*ck out there and start running. plan your day while you're running the track. then get home and do push-ups and sit-ups, and lots of them.

the more you bust your ass now, the less you will suffer later.

try to eat about 1.5g of protein per lb of body weight. (example if your weight is 130lbs, eat 195g of protein per day along w/ hitting the gym). You have to eat a lot and supplement your diet.
