Gohatto (Taboo), a Japanese movie.

Saw it last night on the Sundance channel because at first I thought was a Samurai movie (love that stuff, especially the sword fighting stuff), and it didn't turn out that way at all. If you want to see something VERY different, see this movie. It'll leave you scratching your head in wonder. There's a couple of scenes that was pretty nasty, I do have to warn you: A good katana can do a lot of damage to one's arteries, and I won't even comment on the "jail house rock" crap that goes on between the guys, yikes!

 

Is that the one where somebody got locked in a chest and died?

 

I'll have to check it out if it plays again.
