Default Welcome to the 4-year club!

Well, it's officially 4 years tomorrow for me. Good lord, we (the old timers) have been together for FOUR YEARS!

I know I write one of these every year, but this is fairly amazing for me

So guys and gals, who (and what) do you miss from the old days?

I miss the days when Hondagal and I would spice up the forums with PG-13 teasing

I miss Bieg, believe it or not

I miss the days when the arguments of purists vs. modders were only on Mugen and Spoon stuff, maybe RM and Comptech here and there.

I miss the days when members were inventing gadgets for the car and making a business out of it: Rick, myself (thank you all, old customers and friends!), and many others.

I miss the days when I would spent $150 on dyno sessions just to prove that a $50 JR filter (made in France, BTW) made a few HP gains

Lastly, I miss the days when we had only a handful of forums.

Two more days...

Doesn't seem like it's been that long. Am I getting old?

I guess I'm one of the "new" guys. I haven't made 4 years yet, I've got 4 days to go. I don't remember why I didn't register the day this one opened up, but many of you guys seemed like old friends by the time this board started.

I miss many of the same things you do Rich. Many people have come and gone from here and many of them where great and I miss them. On the other hand there were some real crazies in the early days and I have no problem doing without them.

I miss that small town feel we had back in the day.. when there were only a few of us, and we had to entertain ourselves..

A lot of things have changed and some never will.. now, how long have we known each other prior to this site? gotta be at least a couple years before that no?

PS. the reason I'm not 4 years yet was that I was on vacation when this place went live.. pissed me off ever since

The board has been and still is great. I still learn about the car and what can be done. It is fun to see the excitement in every "noob" post about the S. All I can say is I still love driving the car after 5 years and don't have a clue what would be a good replacement.
As an aside was at the Nissan dealer this weekend (purchased a Murano) and looked at the price on the Z. For the convertible it was almost $40K. Thought I would choke.

Tomorrow!!!
Where is S2000Chris?
And where is Sandra from Texas, then Florida? She was the second member of S2000FANS. Did she leave when "the split" happened?
And Flying Pig?
Oh the memories....
