Default Went with the frenzy and saw Harry Potter

After an hour and half standing in line in the cold (it must've been less than 60F!) tonight, my wife and I saw the movie that's all the rage this weekend. The movie was surprisingly good, and it was certainly worth the $18 admission plus $6.50 worth of popcorn and drinks.

Good movie, will buy the DVD and let my kids (whenever they come and grow old enough) watch it

You and everyone else must have seen it. I think that it did something like 95.5 million this weekend!

Is this movie really that good, or is it just hype?

I think that it is a combination of both. There are a lot of families going to see it because the kids are into HP.

When you figure that the average family has 2.something kids and both parents are going to go, that adds up to a lot of money. It is a good effects movie and hits a good age group.

There was some concern that the movie would miss, however I think that it has received very good reviews so far and judging by this weekends numbers it is already a success.

Good thing that all of the actors are in for the possible seven sequels. Not that they would ever do that many movies, but you know that there will be another.
