My wife just phoned to say that the <very kind, generous, and altruistic> folks at Adelphia cable have finally gotten round to upgrading our service to digital. This means that we can get Speed Channel, which is not available to their analog subscribers, for reasons which have never been clear to me.

This means that I only need to rely on the kindness of strangers for a tape of the Malaysian Grand Prix and will be able to get the races live myself henceforth.

Nice....I'm thinking of actually getting cable hooked up just for that channel. At this time it's been about 8 months since I've watched TV at home.

 

i have the speed channel on dish network!! i like most of the programs on it!!

 

Good news ...... the GP's have been pretty action packed so far
