But my new years low-carb thing (which should last at least a month) had me drinking Sam Adams Light during the Sugar Bowl.

I have not let the likes of a Bud or a Miller or a Busch pass my lips in years!!!

I support my local economy when ever I can. I drink mostly microbrews. Some of the great ones include:

WAGNER VALLEY
Sled Dog
Mill Street
India Pale Ale
Oatmeal Stout

ITHACA BEER CO.
Apricot Wheat
Nut Brown
Dim Wit

FROM MY CANADIAN FRIENDS
Creemore
Sleeman's

OFF THE SHELF
Samual Adams
Beck
Corona

You should organize a group drive to Colorado and just go freeky crazy tasting all the micro-brews out there.

(to answer your question, here in the sticks I drink Mic Lt)

Best beer ever is Celebrator Dopplebock but it is very hard to find. The only place in SoCal I have seen it is Crown City Brewery in Pasadena. I have to make due with getting it from Bevmo.com or one of their stores. Try it, you'll love it.

Since I can't usually find it I make due with Guiness or Murphy's or the like.

They have these "Beers of the World" variety packs at Costco. It contains 18 different beers from all over the world, and there's a few variety packs to choose from. Some are good and some aren't, but it's always fun to sample them all. =)
