Got a card from my wife and another one from my son and granddaughter, thank you very much for asking.

Then we drove up north for a bbq at my brother in-law's for a father's day celebration with my wife's family.

Bought him a new grass trimmer, and my siblings and I took him out for steak at Texas Land & Cattle.

I won't ever go back to that restaurant. I've been there 4 or 5 times, and I've never had a good steak... much less a great one. We originally planned to go to Saltgrass which is much better, but my sister decided she didn't want to go there because they said there would be an hour wait. TxLC accepted reservations (not that we would've needed them). There's a reason that Saltgrass had an hour wait and TxLC was seating people as soon as they walked in.

I got my Dad a Mychron Lap Timer for his race car.

I didn't get much because I asked them not to get me anything, so they just got me a card and a few small things. I only got home from Argentina yesterday morning and I wanted to actually look for something I wanted as opposed to having them find something for me.

Spend time with the family. Had my 18mo old hand a grandpa card to my dad. He melted at that gesture.

I did some yard work for the man, as well as taking him and Mom out to dinner. I also house/dog sat for them all weekend since they went on a short vacation. This ment I had full useof the boat, and had a little party on the lake with some buds
