Default What to do with my old phone

I am planning on upgrading my phone and plan with Sprint.

My phone still works just want the latest and greatest! What to do with my old phone?!? Can I sell it......give it away and write it off on taxes.......or just give it to a 3 year old to play with instead of throwing it away!

I've given my old phones away to this "group" who helps battered women.

They refurb and give them service so if they have a problem with their "problem" they can call the police.

I figure thats a pretty decent thing to do with something I don't intend on using again, might want to check into something like that where you are.

I have owned about 8 phones. There are not a whole lot you can do with them. I found most of them don't work right after the first year. You can try selling it, don't expect too much.

Talk to your local police department too. Some places, they program them ONLY to call 911 and give them to people in underprivileged areas to monitor crime or to school crossing guards.

Kinda ironic, but you should see the size of some of those phones the "battered" women are getting.....

What's the irony? They phones are old, they're large, they're free and they work.

The phones that I saw the "battered" women getting once could definitly inflict some bodily harm..........you had to be there I guess to understand the "irony"

Lets just say that some of my coworkers are messed up in the head........I'll leave it at that.
