What do you do when you're bored on weekends?
Ok, Just got back from the Dragon. I am so happy that I went. It was just about the perfect weather for the dragon runs and it was also the Z-day, so lots to see at fontana village.
Another reason was to sorta see what the s could do at the dragon and test out my tires.
I race my gf's Evo, which I use to be able to go faster than her at the dragon with my Evo. My gf auto-x and been to the dragon more times than I have and she could drive.
result: Tires were the weak point. Compare to RT-615, the Sumitomo HTZ faded quick, and the sidewalls needed a lot more improvement. However, it never lost control randomly and i was able to keep up with my gf most of the time except for the straights, which was the biggest problem with the s2000 (which I knew already). But the long curves and sharp turns were easy with the rear kicking out just enough in a control manners, and I was very thrilled with the gearing as well, which seem to be built for the dragon.
anyway, long story short, I had a f'n blast this weekend.
I did get a racoon tan, since i had the sunglaseses on the entire weekend and the top down as well, but hell, I'm still happy.
Another thing about the puppies...
