for me
sub 100k- i'd go for the '02 405hp z06.. its more of a all around sports car then the viper.
above 100k- Ferrari Modena Spider

The fit and finish on the current car is not great. For an all round daily driver the ZO6 would be a better car but for the thrill of power it's hard to beat the Viper. The Viper is a big heavy car and it's not something you can toss around like the S2000. While I don't think I would want to drive one as my daily driver the car is a BLAST to play with.

If they fix the minor problems with the 03 models I'd love to have one.

i've driven various kinds of cars from ferrari's to lambo's..and of course a couple of Viper GTS coupes.. all i can say is that it is a bad @$$ car.. i could only imagine what the 2003 Viper will be like.. if you really plan on getting one..don't get the RT... get the GTS.. w/ the stripes

My buddy just bought a 2000 RT/10 and I've ridin/drivin it a couple times. It's fun as hell from a pure power chew up the freeway stand point. It's fun in the twisties too, but it will bite you in the ass REALLY quickly. There's just so much power that you can snap the ass around pretty much anytime you want (or don't). Yes, the fit and finish sucks. I was amazed how sh!tty it is. There are many things that were obviously afterthoughts and were just slapped on. I like it but it's not my style. Looks and feels kinda "meatheadish". Guys from Jersey who used to own Irocs love it.
