I was wondering what you think of the 2002 Odyssey, my mom just bought one. It is sweet (for a van) She got the EX model with the DVD player if has leather and all the good stuff. It also has the 3.5L 240 hp engine in the MDX.

So now we have 2 hondas in the Family soon to be 3

My dad- 1998 Accod EX V6.(moms old car)
My mom-2002 Odyssey EX, with DVD(her new car)
My *soon* to be car-2002 S2K (now my problem is which color)

Phoenix huh? I love my black/black but if I were you, I'd cross that choice off my list! As for the Odyssey, all the car rags rate it higher than any other mommy van, and they all love how the third row seat disappears under the floor.

 

Well her van isn't a Mommy Van but it will soon be a grand mommy van My sister is pragnent and is due in April.

 

Oddessy's always look good ... Don't know why but they're getting better every generation onwards.

 

hey quick96, maybe you should be getting the van and your mom the S2000.

 

My wife has the 2000 Odyssey. The best mini van in the market. I was tempted to trade in for the 2002 model for three reasons. 240 hp; disk brakes in the rear; and amber turn lights in the back. But wife nixed the idea. Oh well.

 

I don't think that I will be buying a 32K van. It is really really nice and everything but I want a sports car.

But if I were to get a van this would be the one. The insurance lady called and left a message on the maching asking if I was going to be the primary driver. I was thinking, me driving an odyssey. WTF? But then I realized that they traded in the car that I was listed as the primary driver, an 87 Supra with 150K miles.

 

The Oddessy happens to be one of the best handling mini-vans as described anywhere on this planet. That thing can take corners at high speeds without the tyres even making a sound ... Absolute amazing, and the torque from the SOHC V6 VTEC is an absolute comfort to ride or drive it. Really need to test it to know why it's worth so much. Besides, the cabin controls look as good as a Honda Legend.
