I went over to my grandmas house last night because ther new tennant wanted to drop off some clothes. (she moves in nov 1) So i waited for about 20 mins before she came. I was helping her bring in the bags and she said she wanted to drop them off and bounce but we started talking and we had an exelent conversaion. She's got these really cute glasses and she said lemme see you with them on. So I tried them on and looked in the mirror and I said "dam I have a fat face" she said "no your like the teddy bear type" Now I have no idea what that means...it could mean

A) a nice way to say your fat get your chubby ass to the gym

or

B) Your cute and you look like your a good cuddler

Im hoping its choice B...I mean I know I'm chubby but I dont know how to interpret that comment.

 

I'll bet it meant:

C) "Self-deprecation is so unattractive but I'll cut you a break since you just moved all my shit into my new place".

 

LOL, bulls eye. Teddy Bear = fat....have you ever seen a teddy bear that is in good shape, LOL.

Meh, I wouldn't take it that way, I've been called a teddy bear for years and frankly it results in more girls wanting to hug you.

One of the girls I dated for a while last year (who was tiny and in really good shape) called me a bear sometimes and told me that being around me made her feel safe.

If you're just fat then she probably didn't mean it in a good way, if you're muscular by nature with a little belly or something then take it well and it was a compliment.

 

I feel Im fat so she was probably being nice and telling me she agrees with me

 

Don't be so hard on yourself. I think you had an opportunity there but it probably went away when you dropped that one self-deprecation bomb. At least try to be friends with her because you never know down the line.

 

women love attention, give her some and stop calling yourself fat.
