my buddies and I use it in the sex way. Ex. I hooked up with her last night.

Acutally come to think of it was always used it in that way. I rememer when my cousin used it. I almost choked on my food.

But she and her friends use it to say that they kissed and kicked it with a guy.

They call sex milkshakes

 

I always thought "hook up" meant having sex.

 

yeah, I usually say meet up as well but I've heard/used link up and hook up as well, all about the context it's used in.

If a friend said that to me, no, it'd mean they fooled around (though to most of my female friends hookup means sleep together)

hook up sounds better than ####. for example, would you rather hear a girl say "i ####ed him, or i hooked up with him? what makes her sound more promiscuous? guys used #### because we just don't give a ####... double standard.

 

Last time a girl told me to "hook up", it burned when I peed afterward.

 

hook up is a classy way of saying you guys are going to have sex. why dont you go on a date and tell the chick you wanna hook up and see where it leads to?

 

It depends on what part of the country you are in.

In NC it meant to to make out etc.

In AL it means to make sexy time.

Where I grew up (CO) it means sex. Where my wife grew up (NY) it means making out.
