What the hell is wrong with people in Florida?

I moved to the Miami area (Doral) 6 months ago and I have to say, this is the worst place I've lived in. People just drive me nuts, no matter where I go.
It feels like a third world country. And I'm Mexican-American. Dreading flying back to Miami tomorrow after a 10 day holiday break in AZ.
