A 60gig iPod.

Seriously. Toshiba disclosed that Apple is buying a crapload of their new 60gig drives to use in the iPod.

IMHO, there's nothing better for an MP3 collection. It's also getting easier all the time to integrate it into a car as well.

haha -- it's gonna be super boring --

-- but someone suggested do it like they did -- do it at work -- convert 40-50 CDs a day -- why not --

-- work sucks, but this makes it better --

Just make sure you import them as Mp3's and NOT AAC's if you ever want to burn MP3 discs...I made this mistake
