Kids need to read Woody Woodpecker's Guide to Manners. (I believe the book was named that title. Correct me if I'm wrong). That illustrative piece of work was one of the first books I remember reading as a child. I learned to say ,"excuse me" ,"no thank you", "please", etc. at a very young age. Besides, Woody Woodpecker was the coolest character back in the day, and probably still holds that rank. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that there are other ways to discipline a child.

Exactly why he should have taken him somewhere private before giving him a damn good slapping !!!

ya, so when i leave a big bruise on this kids shoulder from grabbing him....then his parents call the cops or some shit like that...I get to look at the inside of a jail cell.

I think I am just going to never invite him to anything at our house or party every again. I should go talk to the parents, but they are so oblivous that I know it will turn out worse than me not saying anything.

I actually heard a child tell a parent in the grocery store that he was going to call child protection services to his mother. It made me so mad!! I remember getting my a$$ whipped in the store if I was bad. Now other people try and tell you what you can and can't do to punish your child. I makes me want to ing puke!! If that had been my child, I would have packed his sh!t when I got home, and told him to make the call. I would put their number on speed dial to help make it easier. And if anyone ever tries to tell me how to discipline my child, then they are going to get a piece of my mind...and maybe my foot in their a$$!!

Sorry for the vent, but that is something that really gets on my nerves!!

It's ridiculous what parents let their children get away with that these days.
