Around my area there are at least 10 classified ads in the newspaper saying they will buy junk cars (title or no title) for $100-$300 depending on the place. Some say something like $.07 per pound (which is $210 for a 3,000lb car).

Just curious if your area has advertising like this and what is the value of a junk car in your area.

My mom's area is not as big and my little brother just got $75.00 for his Lumina... seems like he got ripped off.

I guess only people in BFE PA are scraping the bottom for shitty cars. There's no such advertising in Philly because most of the bombed-out cars are confiscated by the Parking Authority for having too many unpaid tickets.
