I really like (on guys) Mavi's, Express, DKNY, and Buffalo (not sure what they have out now, but when I went shopping for my ex 2 years ago, I loved them!)

You mean there are jeans other than LEVI's out there?? I practically live in them, work, play, go out to dinner, shows etc.

Mavi makes really nice Jeans, I like my Mavi, Structure, Express, Tommy, Nautica, and Calvin Klein jeans. ....Wow, i have a whole bunch of jeans. anyways,I would stay away from Armani, and most really expensive designer brands like Dolce & Gabbana, i don't think they feel or look good on anyone but the models they feature in their ads...something about the lay of them, but that's on my figure too which isn't particularly svelte. You may find differently, but i still have a hard time reconciling the cost to perceived value ratio; armani doesn't tell me good things just because of the name, but women are more fickle; ie, they flock to the brother with the stripped 325 instead of the baller in the S2000 because the beemer's got a blue n' white propeller on the hood

Jeans are no longer work clothes, most of mine are very dark denim shades and patterns to go well with dress shirts for nights out on the town. pay attention to how the pattern lays when you sit down, as well as how it fits when you're sitting. You really can't go wrong but I don't really like regular Levi's, they're really butch and i have a less brusque character. whenever i think levi's i think cowboy boots, and that makes me sick to my stomach...

Sorry to you levi fans and cowboys out there, that's just not my thing.

Well, I think the fashion and styling of designer Jeans are a little more provocative, and they tend to last longer (not every designer jean, but some).. So my philosophy is I'd rather spend like 80 USD on a good pair of Jeans if it lasts me a long time, then buy 30 or 40 buck jeans over and over again..

Express Jeans with a stretch material is hot. Diesel, DKNY and if you can find them for guys, Seven.

I personally like low rise, boot cut jeans in vintage or distressed washes.

but it also depends on your body shape and what you wear on your feet that dictate how the jeans will look. since i like boot cut, i like to wear them with......you guessed it, BOOTS!

straight leg jeans will usually accommodate all types of shoes. try not to wear anything with a flared bottom with a flat shoe, like sneakers, they'll look funny.

by the way, if you're looking for comfort, anything with stretch material is the way to go, but they don't last as long because they tend to be thinner.
