hey i am 14 yrz old but i kan get my pemit this year and license next cuz of the hardship license as you know. im into cars but what do you think a good car is for me that can keep up with others and has a low base price that can be tuned easy? i want RWD drive only. thanx fir your suggestions.

Personally i think maybe a 240SX

Its spelled, not spelt. I'd suggest a 240SX or the Gen 2 MR2. Both have good handling and both respond resonably well to bolt on mods. If you could find an AE86 today that wasn't overpriced and in good condition I'd say go for that but thats a rare find now a these days. I don't suggest an RX-7 unless you have hordes of money to throw at it.

BTW, I think this thread would be more appropriate in the "Car Talk" forum?

Let's see...low price...rear wheel drive...lots of mod potential? My first vote would be a Miata. Depending on the year you choose, you can find them for anywhere from about $3k on up and you can mod the hell out of the car for not too much money (relatively speaking).

Not enough power stock to get you into TOO much trouble when you're starting out, but makes a great baseline for building up as you grow with the car...
