What are the last couple CDs you bought?
Last week I got Staind: Break The Cycle and it rocks! The song "Waste" is my fav.
also got Train: Drops of Jupiter and a used copy of REM's Automatic for the People.

Okay i'll date myself. Right after 9/11/01 attack i went out to the F-1 race at Indy. I bought Jimmy Hendrix Best Of that contained the national anthem. And I cranked that thing up every morning, and everybody camping around me loved it!

i had about 500cds before i started burning my own cds...
now i think my actual cd collection is 510
i won't buy a cd when all i want is one song and i'm sure the rest of the cd sucks...i can't justify paying 16-18 bucks for a cd that costs less than a buck to make

I remember when CDs first broke onto the scene. Record companies promised that once they took off and became popular they would eventaully be cheaper then vinyl. HA. I guess the joke is on us. When is the last time you saw a brand new popular CD under $12. Excluding the classical music CDs of course.
I bought the Doobie Brothers Greatest Hits and America's Greatest Hits. I was feeling very retro one day. And you just can't go wrong with bands that have been around for 3-4 decades. I'm a fan of Mannheim Steamroller so I just bought their new Christmas CD. 'Tis the season you know.
