How long do your ancestors have to have lived in America before your nationality is "American"?

I think mine is.

However, the nationalities of my ancestors are Scottish, Irish, Cherokee, and Czech (Bohemian). There might be some German and English in there, too. I'm not certain.

not long at all - as long as they have US Passports they're American, and so are you.
