What NOT to do with a one of a kind
Saw that a while ago.
When I was a kid my mother had a crystal bowl that was made for her. One of the women in the group that met on a daily basis dropped it, said she would replace it. It was the only one made, would have cost several thousand dollars (in 50's money) to be duplicated. My mother let it go, but the woman was not allowed to touch anything in our apartment ever again.
