Seeing as the death penalty has been outlawed in Austria since 1950, I suspect he won't fry. However, I'm sure the Austrian prison guards are just as capable as U.S. ones in looking the other way while he's getting sodomized, so, you know. . . catch as catch can (so to speak).

As per the particulars, holy crap, somebody short-circuited in their heads early and often.

 

You mean you've never contemplated jailing your daughter in a secret soundproof room and fathering children with her, all while living a seemingly normal life with your wife upstairs???

Reading this and watching the link to the video made me feel a little sick. People are unbelievable sometimes, I can't imagine what it will be like for these children in all these weird situations lately to know where they came from or how freakish of an upbringing they had without even knowing it.

 

It would be very interesting to talk to the children.. reminds me of platos alagory of a cave

 

No kidding. I'm sure they'd be all like "What's a tree, man. Like I know what a "tree" IS but what is it REALLY, man?"

Seriously it also reminds me of "wolf boy." Or the story of the boy "raised" by wolves. I think its just a myth though.

ABC had a story on a similar girl who went through something similar here in the states.

She didn't know how to talk and she looked disabled, mostly in her face, like she had a stroke. Something happens with the language receptors during childhood I guess.

It's really weird though, not being able to distinguish things. You see the shape of a tree and a shape of a rock, but to you they are the same??! Gives me more reason to believe in a "blank slate", where language and experience is of ultimate importance.

But yeah, this guy is pretty sick. I wonder what his parents did to him.

The more often I hear about messed up people, the more often it wasn't just by chance.

A reason doesn't mean it's excusable.

 

Can you really use that excuse, "my parents screw me up so now im screwing my kids." He is really a disturbed guy and i hope the jail him for life. I feel bad about the kids though because they are going to grow up all looney. I don't know how his daughter got throw that 24 years with out thinking of killing herself. You know what hollywood going do right... make this into a movie.
