What rhymes with Stook?
Puke!
OK people, here's a challenge. Let's come up with a name that sounds like what the S2000 is. Stook is an ugly word for a beautiful car...
I still like S2000 or S2K.
Anyone??????
Everyone????

I tend to agree that Stook is kind of an odd word and I never use it when typing here, or I have very rarely. I only use the word Stook when I am in the company of other S2000's. Like at meets and rallies...I am heard saying "Stooks!" with a goofy look on my face (like normal) which expresses my happiness to be in the company of other S2000's...
I do admit that Stook is kind of silly, yet charming word. I still much prefer S2000 as that is what Honda named the car!
As for something rhymes with Stook...hmmm.
How about...
Fluke?
Duke?
Gook? (that is bad...sorry!)
Kook?
Juke?
Nuke?
Tough word to rhyme with, my man...!

Yes, I'm completely bored tonight...

I thought Stook was pronounced to rhyme with Took (stole), Crook (Thief), Book (Oliver twist), Nook (binky), Rook (chess), etc........
Stuke.....now that sounds funny!???
WTF is the correct pronounciation???

Damn yanks, you and your stoopid pronunciations
- the oo in Stook has the same sound as the oos in hook.
I agree with Scot, Stuke doesn't just sounds funny - it sounds ridiculous and embarrassing (never can spell that word correctly).
As for the propoerly pronounced Stook, though, it sounds mean, macho and thoroughly appropriate to the great vehicle the S2000 is.
