Default What should my title be?

I'm being promoted to director level, but the problem is, I can't think of a good way to name the title. I'm overseeing marketing, product development, and international sales.

So far I can only think of Director of Marketing & Products since intl. sales can be wrapped under marketing.

What is your suggestion?

i thought you were switching jobs? You have more job shit than anyone I know. I just go to work, make donuts and come home.

Don't get too wrapped up in titles..... I am the controller of where I work, but I almost always just say Accounting....It just sounds petty trying to push a big title onto people.... to each their own.

I know people at banks are like "I am the VP of XXXXX".... ya, 85% of the bank is a ing VP.... whoooot.... you beat out the other 15%.

The Man and Grand Dictator is reserved for the big boss only, LOL

Well, i just talked to the big boss and he said to make it simple: Director of Global Marketing.

Done.

When my boss made me pick a title after several years of having guru listed next to my name, I told him owner would be nice but the price was too high. Now I am the VP of Techno Doohickies and Thingamajigs. He forced the VP title on me so I added the rest.

No, that's the former boss - with liver disease and Hep C.

I like to work Saturdays - quiet time, etc. and my boss is a workaholic as well
