As I was searching for pics of the mugen front end I came across this thread.

Proof that not everybody on the internet knows what they are talking about. I think Mugen makes nice parts for the S2000.

 

even though I have owned 5 s2000's I would agree with them... the mugen front end is UGLY!

I do think the J's front is actually uglier though.... I have no idea how people could spend $$$$ for that alien looking thing.

To each their own! I don't think I like any of the aftermarket front bumpers for the S2000.... stock AP2

 

I kinda agree...let's put it this way, if the S2000 came with the Mugen bumper stock, I'm willing to bet a bunch of people would switch to an AP1 or AP2 bumper just for looks alone.

Besides that, I think its still a cool bumper (despite its looks) if it does help with performance.

 

I agree with most of what they say. Never understood the love affair with that big smiley Mugen bumper. I also go on to say that the Mugen MF-10's are ugly too. I love the exhaust and hartop.

I keep thinking porpoise or bottlenose dolphin...with their underbite and all.

 

I must agree with most of them. Sad that the car probably cost twice as much as mine does.

 

I like most mugen parts but I agree that they need some serious work on their bumper style. I'm not into the whole smiley face thing. It just doesn't look agressive.

However, worst front end hands down has to be the veilside but yet it makes every freaking movie appearance whenever they hop up an S2000.
