Well, Napster is obviously ancient history. I tried Aimster but thought it was too hard to work (couldn't get any songs to come up). Morpheus is "ok", but nine times out of ten, I'd get a bazillion songs come up but all would result in "unable to connect."

What are you guys using now?

it works well most of the times. but beware of the spy ware that it will install along with the program

Win MX.. the spyware on Kazaa is hella irritating.. with all those pop ups and such.. errrrr..

 

I'm using Lime Wire, and I find that it works really well.

 

Go to www.lavasoft.de and download ad-ware, it'll let you know any spyware you might have installed. It'll also remove it, excellent stuff.

 

Try Gnotella or gnucleous they are awsome better than napster ever was!

WinMx worked well at first but I use Kazaa now.

That spy ware crap is annoying....I'm gonna try and remove it with lava thanks!

 

Gnutella is good but can not compete with Napster (when Napster was in its prime).

I'm suffering through the Morpheus preview edition (f'in popups!) hoping that the final version will be good.

 

i only listen to chinese/japanese/korean... so i guess the only place that's still up (for chinese songs) would be boxup.com
