I think you might be joking, but no, theoretically you can not live on those calories. Completely unbalanced and you will die of malnutrition or get the gout, diabetes, or any other number of things.
^lol i swear i only ate carnitas burritos, papa johns pizza, and in and out in college. drank a lot of beer, but would go to jamba juice a couple times a week to get my vitamins...
but i did go to the gym a lot too.

dude i swear to god that all i ate in college and exercise 3times a week for about 1.5 hrs.

That definitely not sufficient body-fuel to keep a person running, and running efficiently and effectively. I predict your lifespan to have been shortened to roughly 47 years of age

... We keep the heat in our house on 70 in the winter and 74 in the summer...
The problem is if anyone pay for heating/air conditioning by himself he/she may use less energy. If someone else pays for it then why not abuse it ?

BTW when did drug use become a right? I have several clients who perform random testing on their employees for alcohol consumption, as required by their insurance to continue receiving coverage.

Trainwrecks guide to surviving on $300
Need clothing, no problem. Just go to any highschool or elementary school, and look in the lost and found bin. or just wait outside of a goodwill and ask people for clothes before they go into the store to donate them.
Need shelter? just go to a public park and use newspapers for blankets. See Berkely California or golden gate park.
I swear this one time i was walking through downtown san francisco, and this bum had really nice northface sleeping bag, i was a little jealous of his gear.
Food - America is the land of $99 cent menus. wendys, jack in the crack, even mickey dees has a 99$ menu. also, u can dumpster dive behind restaurants during the day when most dumpsters are not locked. I used to work at a bakery and at the end of each day i would pack up trash bags full of perfectly good food. also, u can just steal from a orchard if you are a country bum.
basically, i agree with those that dont actually think their are poor people in the United States. I have been to asia and mexico where people build their house out of trash and go to the dumpsite to sift thru trash to find food. aint no clean water, no electricity, no free clinics, no welfare program, its just a way of life for the WHOLE town.

I have the thermostat set at 62 in the evening and early morning, 55 the rest of the day. All family members have sweaters on in the house all the times until bed time. I don't have home air conditioning so that inside the house can be as high as 85 in hot summer days.

but your story sounds very similar to my situation growing up. my parents would never turn on the heat or AC ever!!!
winter time
55 degrees -
hey mom, can we turn on the heat?
- hell no, put on another sweater, its like throwing money into a furnice
45 degrees
hey mom, can we turn on the heat?
- hell no, go put on another 2 pairs of socks
summertime
95 degrees
hey mom, can we turn on the AC?
- shut up, put this otter pop on yoru forehead and eat the other one
105 degrees
hey mom, can we turn on the AC?
- LOL, go to the library until the sun sets.

&
That is ONE way to solve the problem; just reassign what "poverty" is. Would everybody agree to this? Are there landowners that'd agree to just have "temporary" cities just pop up? Can our society bear this?
