Life is full of things derogatory and unnecessary. Example: photoshopped pics of the pope. photoshopped pics of s2k'ers with sheep. tasteless jokes. etc etc.... If the derogatory and unnecessary weren't a regular part of offtopic, half of the regular posters would go away. Derogatory and unnecessary do not necessarily constitute offensive. Please attempt to discern between your own personal sensitivities and the objective.
As a moderator you should be well aware that such intimidating PM's are far more inappropriate than the original cracker statement was. You should be setting a positive example. Please keep this in mind in the future. I do thank you for your voluntary efforts on s2ki, but please control yourself.

Can we please not let this get into a discussion about whether or not cracker is an offensive term. Whether or not I find it offensive is not the issue here. The fact of the matter is that it is a derogatory term that is not necessary on the forum.
The only explanation that I have is that I am a moderator in Off-Topic and I have kindly asked that everyone refrain from using derogatory terms such as this in this forum. I sincerely thank you all for your attention to this.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled topic...
