i am almost 35...... half of my properties probably will not go up much in value... they are 1/2 crappy city properties (bought for $25k roughly but still pretty nice..just in crappy parts of town) and half are nice all brick city properties (these would probably appreciate decently).......
any tips.... move to harrisburg where things are cheap!
I don't know about other places, but I can normally buy a house for under $25k (usually cheaper, then I spend a few $ for carpet, paint and maybe windows)..... then rent for about $600 per month..... all of them are 3 bedrooms..... the taxes are high, but it works out pretty decent in the end.
