I am thinking of a short vacation in Yuma, to visit my aunt and uncle. Any thing to do or see here?

Snoopy's brother Spike lives out in the desert - I get all my info on life there from the Peanuts strip!

I haven't even been through Yuma in many years but if my favorite Canookie is going to be there maybe I need to go for a visit. You couldn't do me though, my wife wouldn't allow it.

I once visited a buddy at the Federal Prison there. He got a year for interstate distribution of steroids.

Hi Honda Gal,
I have been to Yuma several times, as I used to have a major client there. Not really much to do. They have the old prison you can visit (1800's era) and the air marine base is there so you can watch the Harrier jets hover in the air. That's about it. Watch out for the snowbirds, the old folks escaping the snow that drive around town about 6 mph. The best thing about Yuma is it is only a couple hours drive to San Diego, and a few minutes drive from Mexico if you need to buy drugs (the legal kind) very cheap. It's a heck of a lot warmer than Canada right now, so you can sit in the sun and thaw out!
