i want to play a racing game on my computer...preferrably with a handle, which i know i have to buy separately..
what games do you guys recommend.
I want some thing realistic.
if not, i could buy a ps2 for cheap and connect it to my monitor and play that way right?
so just recommend me a good computer racing game if none, then ps2.
also please tell me which handle to buy that's compatible.

how realistic?

GTR2 will bury you with realism and is nearly impossible to play without a good wheel.

There is also Live4Speed, rFactor, and many others.

GRID is a fun (and current) semi-arcade style racer with damage and decent physics, but lacking in "realism"

MOMO and Logitech make good wheels.
I have a Driving Force Pro that I really like.

 

RFactor is excellent.

 

Live for Speed

It works with the three-pedal, 6spd wheels (RFactor does too, IIRC). You can work on your heel-toeing and rev-matching.

Live for Speed don't play anymore but it's a great game, definitely use a wheel though

It's outdated.. so? I thought it was the best NFS int he computer series.
